The Summit Medical DirectFlow sets are a uniquely designed and patented multi-line infusion extension set product line. The unique design allows for the line extensions to terminate in the distal end of the connector body, and thus directly into the fluid pathway.

The DirectFlow Multi-line design allows the clinician to:
- Connect up to four lines into the connector body utilized for a carrier line.
- Help manage incompatible drugs by eliminating drug mixing in the extension lines. As each extension line ends in the connector body, incompatible drugs can be alternated in the carrier line.
- Eliminate the use of ganged stopcocks which directly benefits the fight against infections related to stopcock manipulation.
- Eliminate the confusion of stopcock handle positioning and infusing into a closed stopcock.
- Reduce the amount of space taken up by stopcocks.
- Reduce priming volumes of the extension sets.

Benefits of the unique DirectFlow Multi-line design:
- Connect up to six lines into the connector body utilized for a carrier line.
- Help manage incompatible drugs by eliminating drug mixing in the extension lines. As each extension line ends in the connector body incompatible drugs can be alternated in the carrier line.
- Allows the clinician to accurately deliver micro-infusions.
- Allows for low flow rates of 1, 2, and 3 ml’s per hour.
